The Ansiães Castle is organized in two platforms corresponding to the area of the fortress and residential area.

The material evidence document the urban structure of the medieval village, highlighting the whole defensive complex and the church of St. Saviour, whose iconographic program of the eardrum, the type "Pantocrator", is one of the most important examples of the Portuguese Romanesque.

    Tuesday to Sunday from 10h00 to 12h00 and from 14h00 to 17h00. Closed on Mondays and holidays 1 January, Holy Friday, Easter Sunday, May 1st and December 25th.
