Due to the large number of visitors, the exhibition "Leonardo da Vinci, the inventor", in the Palace of the Dukes of Bragança, in Guimarães, since March 3, 2017, scheduled to close on October 22, will be extended until to January 7 of next year.

This exhibition presents a total of 21 models reproduced on a large scale from original sketches of the Florentine genius, including reproductions of the codices where Leonardo illustrated the operation of these machines.

The exhibition also includes posters with explanations that form a didactic travel guide to the world of this visionary genius and the time when he developed his creations. These posters are accompanied by interactive stations with 3D animations of the operation of the machines.

It can be visited from Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 am to 6:00 p.m. (the last entrance is at 5:30 p.m.), it costs € 3.80, discount for students, over 65 and special prices for schools.

The exhibition "Leonardo da Vinci, the inventor" has already been visited by more than 28 thousand visitors since its inauguration.
